Baseball Recap: Dexter Comes Up Short

Dexter was the 2-1 winner over Kelly when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dexter's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Kelly, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-15 record this season.

Dexter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against Kennett on the 4th. As for Kelly, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-3 defeat against Sikeston on the 4th.
