Baseball Game Preview: Benton Central Bison vs. Fountain Central Mustangs

Benton Central is a perfect 9-0 against Fountain Central since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bison will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Benton Central is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Benton Central came up short against McCutcheon and fell 8-5.

Benton Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Spencer Flook, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs. The Bison are 4-1 when Flook posts two or more runs, but 2-13 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Fountain Central also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Attica by a score of 15-10.

Fountain Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Benton Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
