Soccer Recap: Nolan Catholic Takes a Loss

Nolan Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fort Bend Clements Rangers. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Vikings couldn't quite close it out.

Nolan Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Fort Bend Clements, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-3.

Nolan Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against College Station on the 11th. Fort Bend Clements has also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Stratford on the 16th.
