Soccer Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Florence was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the San Miguel Vipers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Florence of the 6-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2025.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for San Miguel, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Florence will head out to square off against San Tan Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Miguel, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 victory against Desert Christian on the 30th.
