Preview: Tuloso-Midway Warriors vs. Harmony School of Excellence Hawks
After two games on the road, Tuloso-Midway is heading back home. They will take on the Harmony School of Excellence Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tuloso-Midway will be strutting in after a victory while Harmony School of Excellence will be coming in after a defeat.
Tuloso-Midway posted their biggest victory since December 15, 2023 on Wednesday. They blew past Robstown, posting a 76-38 victory on the road. Given Tuloso-Midway's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 763rd, while Robstown is ranked 1543rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Harmony School of Excellence's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 80-50 loss at the hands of Alice. Harmony School of Excellence was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-18.
Tuloso-Midway has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-14 record this season. As for Harmony School of Excellence, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
Everything came up roses for Tuloso-Midway against Harmony School of Excellence in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 100-49 victory.
