Basketball Recap: Forest Area Takes a Loss

Forest Area lost against East Jordan back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Forest Area Warriors were dealt a 49-6 defeat at the hands of the East Jordan Red Devils. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Forest Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for East Jordan, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Area will head out to square off against St. Mary Cathedral at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Mary Cathedral will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Forest Area surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Jordan, they are taking a road trip to take on Charlevoix at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
