It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Glynn Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the South Effingham Mustangs 1-0. Glynn Academy's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Glynn Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for South Effingham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glynn Academy will welcome Frederica Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Effingham, they will be playing at home against Long County at 5:00 p.m. on April 2.
