Basketball Recap: El Dorado Springs Bulldogs vs. Warsaw Wildcats

The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Warsaw Wildcats with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. El Dorado Springs breezed by the Wildcats on the road to the tune of 68-41 on Thursday. Given El Dorado Springs' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Wildcats are ranked 481st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan Gemes, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Shane Poyser was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.

El Dorado Springs' victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Warsaw, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

El Dorado Springs will head out on the road to take on the Bears at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warsaw, they will play host again and welcome the Bulldogs, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
