Soccer Recap: Reed-Custer Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Reed-Custer after they claimed the first goal on Monday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Rich Township Raptors by a score of 2-1. Reed-Custer have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Jakub Lichaj, who's now up to five this season.

Reed-Custer's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Rich Township, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Reed-Custer will venture away from home to square off against Herscher at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rich Township, they will head out to take on Kankakee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kankakee's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
