Volleyball Recap: Legacy/Essential Church School Comes Up Short

Legacy/Essential Church School lost against Evangel Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Lightning, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Mackenzie McRee, who had seven digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (two).

Legacy/Essential Church School's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Evangel Christian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-6-2.

Legacy/Essential Church School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Evangel Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Morgan Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
