Basketball Game Preview: Jennings County Panthers vs. Lawrenceburg Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jennings County Panthers face off against the Lawrenceburg Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday... Jennings County has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three contests.

Jennings County is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing New Albany: they outscored them in every quarter. Jennings County strolled past New Albany with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 72-55. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Lawrenceburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Connersville, falling 54-33.

Jennings County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Lawrenceburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
