The May River Sharks will square off against the Parkview Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. May River is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

May River took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Beaufort with a sharp 6-2 win. It was an even better day for Madalynn Baker as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Parkview didn't have quite enough to beat Norcross on Thursday and fell 3-2. Parkview have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

May River is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those five matchups. As for Parkview, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
