Volleyball Game Preview: South Johnston Trojans vs. Gray's Creek Bears

The South Johnston Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Gray's Creek Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

South Johnston is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Terry Sanford with a sharp 3-0 victory.

While South Johnston won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Gray's Creek waltzed into their matchup last Thursday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Gray's Creek took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-7.
