Meanwhile, Coginchaug Regional gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-32 victory over Westbrook.
North Branford's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. As for Coginchaug Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
