Basketball Recap: Addy Lewis' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Aurora Christian Academy over Overland Christian

Aurora Christian Academy played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Overland Christian Eagle, falling 61-41.

Aurora Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Addy Lewis, who posted eight points in addition to ten rebounds and three steals. Aurora Christian Academy is 9-4 when Lewis posts eight or more boards, but 2-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Aleah Heredia, who earned five points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Even though they lost, Aurora Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive contests.
