Football Recap: Omaha Northwest Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Omaha Northwest's offense. They were outmatched by the Benson Bunnies and fell 28-0. Despite 51 more yards than the Bunnies, the Huskies couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Despite the loss, Omaha Northwest still got an impressive performance from King Chatman, who rushed for 118 yards on only 13 carries.

Among those leading the charge was Nee Moo, who rushed for 76 yards and one score on only eight carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up 0.5 sacks and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss). D'Onta Settles-Shelly was in the mix too, providing Benson with one touchdown.

Omaha Northwest is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Benson, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Omaha Northwest and Benson will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Huskies are set to square off against their familiar foe Bellevue East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Benson will take on rival Lincoln High on Friday.
