Basketball Recap: Makayla Triplett's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fishers over Zionsville

Fishers extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 3-4. They lost 50-30 to the Zionsville Eagles. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Fishers lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Makayla Triplett, who posted six points and three steals. Brooklyn Hudnut also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

As for Zionsville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1. While they didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Emma Tinder was a one-woman wrecking crew as she dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Zack, who shot 75% from the field en route to 14 points.

Fishers has already played their next contest, a 53-43 win against Fort Wayne Snider on the 29th. As for Zionsville, they will venture away from home to take on Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. on December 4.
