It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Orthopaedic can now relate to. They took a 51-37 bruising from the New West Charter Eagles on Thursday. The Vipers' defeat signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.

New West Charter's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liam Hakimi, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Hakimi has scored at least a third of New West Charter's points. Another player making a difference was Lior Einhorn, who went 6-for-8 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds.

Orthopaedic's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for New West Charter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Orthopaedic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New West Charter, they will challenge Dr. Maya Angelou Community at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dr. Maya Angelou Community will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something New West Charter surely won't give up without a fight.
