Volleyball Recap: Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats vs. Harrisburg Bulldogs
Anna-Jonesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Harrisburg Bulldogs. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11.
Cassidy Janke paced Anna-Jonesboro's offense, picking up seven kills. Janke got some help from
Brinley Corbit and her 12 assists.
Anna-Jonesboro's loss dropped their record down to 9-19-2. As for Harrisburg, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-21 record.
Anna-Jonesboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Goreville on the 24th. Harrisburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
