The Bears had just enough and edged out the Spartans 6-5 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bears have posted since May 9, 2024.

The win got Blake back to even at 8-8. As for St. Paul Academy-Summit, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Blake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Marshall on the 17th. As for St. Paul Academy-Summit, they will welcome North Lakes Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
