Basketball Recap: Sacopee Valley Comes Up Short

Sacopee Valley lost against Dirigo back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sacopee Valley Hawks had to suffer through a 82-48 loss at the hands of the Dirigo Cougars. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sacopee Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Dirigo, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacopee Valley has already played their next matchup (against Waynflete), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dirigo won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Monmouth Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Monmouth Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
