The Grace Christian Academy EAGLES will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the War Hill Christian Academy Warriors at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Grace Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
On Tuesday, Grace Christian Academy strolled past Konos Academy with points to spare, taking the game 69-53. Given Grace Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while Konos Academy is ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, War Hill Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough 75-41 loss at the hands of St. John Bosco Academy. War Hill Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Parker Rawlings, who scored eight points along with four steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Aaron Stewart, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Grace Christian Academy pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for War Hill Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Grace Christian Academy strolled past War Hill Christian Academy when the teams last played back in January by a score of 70-54. Will Grace Christian Academy repeat their success, or does War Hill Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
