Soccer Game Preview: Valhalla vs. Steele Canyon

The Valhalla Norsemen will face off against the Steele Canyon Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Valhalla's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Friday, Valhalla came up short against Helix and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, the Norsemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 869th, while the Highlanders are ranked 86th).

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Steele Canyon was forced to settle for a draw. They and Helix finished up their game with a 3-3 draw on Wednesday.

Valhalla's loss dropped their record down to 1-12-3. Steele Canyon's draw makes their record 1-8-1 this season.
