Softball Recap: Vinton County Gets the Win

Vinton County hadn't done well against Meigs recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Vikings walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Marauders. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Vinton County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Meigs, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.
