Soccer Recap: Red Hook Takes a Loss

Red Hook lost against New Paltz on September 5th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders came up short against the Huguenots, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Red Hook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 386th, while New Paltz are ranked 44th).

Red Hook's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for New Paltz, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-1-1 record this season.

While Red Hook had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
