While Wilcox RVT's victory against Wright Tech wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Warriors 3-2 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on five straight.

Wilcox RVT wouldn't go down easily and took Wright Tech into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 20-25, 15-10.

Sadie Vernon paced Wilcox RVT's offense, picking up 12 kills. Vernon got some help from Alivia Fiorillo and her 16 assists. Madison Donadio controlled things from the service line, finishing with 11 aces.

Wilcox RVT's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Wright Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Wilcox RVT will take on Wheeler at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wright Tech has already played their next contest (against Kaynor RVT), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
