Volleyball Recap: Riverside-Brookfield Takes a Loss

Riverside-Brookfield's tournament run continued when they took on Lincoln-Way East on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Griffins.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20.

James Long paced Riverside-Brookfield's offense, picking up six kills. Long got some help from Liam Keohane and his nine assists.

Riverside-Brookfield has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Lincoln-Way East, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Riverside-Brookfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Naperville North on the 2nd. As for Lincoln-Way East, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Glenbrook South on the 3rd.
