Basketball Game Preview: East Noble Knights vs. Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves

The East Noble Knights will take on the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as East Noble comes in on three and Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian on 11.

East Noble is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They strolled past Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger with points to spare, taking the game 67-52. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Saints are ranked 349th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian blew past Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, posting a 62-33 victory. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

East Noble's record now sits at 14-9. As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, their record now sits at 22-3.

Things could have been worse for East Noble, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 75-60 loss to Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian in their previous meeting back in January of 2015. Thankfully for East Noble, Wes Davidson (who shot 54% from the field on his way to 23 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals) won't be suiting up this time.
