Cross made his presence known in Lake Havasu's 20-1 win
While Tuesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Deegan Cross. On Tuesday he made a splash, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also only allowed one walk). It looks like he has Westview's number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them, too.
Cross and Lake Havasu will head out on the road to square off against North Canyon at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Lake Havasu is 3-0 against North Canyon going back to March of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
