Basketball Recap: Gadsden Panthers vs. Centennial Hawks

Gadsden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Centennial Hawks, falling 44-18. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-23 back in January.

Centennial found their leader in sophomore Skyler De La Cruz, who went 5-for-11 en route to 11 points and four steals. De La Cruz is becoming a predictor of Centennial's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 6-13 when she doesn't).
