Basketball Recap: Central Valley Academy Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Central Valley Academy Thunder were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 44-40 to the Newark Reds. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Valley Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Newark, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Central Valley Academy will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. As for Newark, they will head out to face off against Bloomfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomfield will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Newark surely won't give up without a fight.
