After flying high against Bellingham on Monday, Meridian came back down to earth. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Sehome Mariners on Wednesday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Sehome, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.

Coming up, Meridian will host Lynden Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Trojans have won eight straight at home, while the Lyncs won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Sehome does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
