Soccer Game Preview: West Florence vs. Spring Valley

The West Florence Knights will head out to take on the Spring Valley Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Florence comes in on three and Spring Valley on four.

West Florence is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Westwood get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Friday. It was an even better day for Ellison Banner as she scored six goals for her team.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Spring Valley and Lugoff-Elgin meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. Spring Valley came out on top against Lugoff-Elgin by a score of 2-0.

Spring Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for West Florence, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.

West Florence was able to grind out a solid victory over Spring Valley in their previous meeting on March 6th, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Florence since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
