Basketball Recap: Charleston Catholic Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with George Washington

On Thursday, Charleston Catholic faced George Washington in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Charleston Catholic Irish took a hard 64-48 fall against the George Washington Patriots. The Irish have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Those nine rebounds gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ilyauna Evans, who posted eight points and eight boards.
