It's playoff time, and Hurricane had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Huntington Highlanders get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Hurricane, who have now won 12 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Huntington with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Connor Jackson, Jack Willis, Landon Stonestreet, and Peyton Gum.

The victory (which was Hurricane's fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for Huntington, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6-1.

Looking ahead, Hurricane will take on Wheeling Park at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hurricane's defense better be ready for this one: Wheeling Park have averaged an impressive 3.9 goals per game this season. Huntington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
