Football Game Preview: Casey-Westfield Warriors vs. Nokomis Redskins

The Casey-Westfield Warriors will take on the Nokomis Redskins at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Casey-Westfield is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Red Hill get on the board and left with a 35-0 victory. The Warriors have beaten the Salukis the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Salukis has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Nokomis was able to grind out a solid win over Tuscola on Saturday, taking the game 28-19.

Nokomis' win came from a few key players Casey-Westfield will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Daryl Evans, who rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Nolan Herpstreith also helped out as he racked up 158 rushing yards.

Nokomis was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 338 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Casey-Westfield's record now sits at 8-2. As for Nokomis, their record is now 7-3.
