Baseball Recap: Livermore Gets the Win

Livermore took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against San Marin, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Livermore Cowboys never let the San Marin Mustangs get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Saturday. For the Cowboys, this counts as revenge for the 7-0 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Caleb Ragan looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Livermore's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for San Marin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Livermore will face off against Tracy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Marin, they will challenge Redwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Redwood 3.5, San Marin 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
