Football Recap: Kenston Forest Kavaliers vs. Howard Eagles
Kenston Forest is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Howard. The Kenston Forest Kavaliers took a 38-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Howard Eagles. The Kavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Zain Queen and Devin Dunn certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Queen gained 167 total yards and a touchdown, while Dunn threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns. Queen also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Kenston Forest's record is now 3-6. As for Howard, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Kenston Forest will head out on the road to take on Fuqua at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Howard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
