Softball Recap: LaVergne Wolverines vs. Wilson Central Wildcats
LaVergne had lost 14 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 1-20 to make it 15. They came up short against the Wilson Central Wildcats, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 18-1 loss last Thursday.
As for Wilson Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games.
