Volleyball Recap: Conway Beats Aynor for Their Third Straight Victory

Conway waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Aynor Blue Jackets by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 22-25, 25-21.

Madeline Green paced Conway's offense, picking up 12 kills. Green really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 24. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Despite the defeat, Aynor saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mia Cole had 13 digs and one assist.

Conway's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Aynor, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-7.

Conway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Georgetown on the 16th. As for Aynor, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Waccamaw on the 16th.
