Softball Game Preview: Cesar Chavez Champions vs. Browne Bruins

The Cesar Chavez Champions will face off against the Browne Bruins at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Cesar Chavez has given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cesar Chavez is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 27 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Browne on Monday. They lost 11-1 to the Bruins. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Champions have suffered against the Bruins since April 14, 2022.

Browne always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cesar Chavez only posted an OBP of .167.

Cesar Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Browne, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 14-4 record.
