Basketball Recap: Douglass Piles Up the Points Against Mt. Enterprise

There's no place like home for Douglass, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats 65-21 on Tuesday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Indians had established a 38 point advantage.

Despite the loss, Mt. Enterprise still got an impressive performance from Tracey Thompson, who posted four points and six rebounds.

Douglass pushed their record up to 5-13 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24 points. As for Mt. Enterprise, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Douglass and Brook Hill will compete for holiday cheer at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Brook Hill will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Douglass surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Enterprise, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against New Summerfield at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Enterprise is facing New Summerfield at the right time seeing as New Summerfield is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
