Baseball Recap: Alchesay Gets the Win

Alchesay won the last time they faced Winslow and things went their way on Tuesday too. Alchesay narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Winslow 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Kyrin Ivins was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Alchesay's record now sits at 11-3. As for Winslow, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alchesay will host Blue Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Blue Ridge will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Alchesay surely won't give up without a fight. As for Winslow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holbrook at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
