Volleyball Recap: Brookland Wins Going Away Against Trumann

Brookland can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They blew past the Trumann Wildcats 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 25-10.

Brookland can attribute much of their success to Olivia Lewis, who had 13 digs and three assists. Those 13 digs gave Lewis a new career-high.

Brookland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. They are 12-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Brookland's win bumped their record up to 17-12-1. As for Trumann, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Brookland will face off against rival Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Trumann is set to challenge their familiar foe Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
