Basketball Recap: ALA - Queen Creek Takes a Loss

ALA - Queen Creek was the 60-45 winner over Crismon when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The ALA - Queen Creek Patriots lost to the Crismon Rattlers on the road by a 50-35 margin on Friday.

Lindsey Leavitt was ALA - Queen Creek's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Brailyn Clouse held things down on the boards with ten rebounds. Tally Call took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Crismon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Miley Rezvani led the charge by putting up 14 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave Rezvani a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maylee Stock, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 12 points along with seven boards and seven steals.

ALA - Queen Creek dropped their record down to 3-17 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Crismon, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-12.

ALA - Queen Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-24 loss against ALA - Gilbert North on the 28th. Crismon has also already played their next contest, a 69-13 defeat against Eastmark on the 28th.
