Uintah has gone a perfect 3-0 against Provo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Utes will face off against the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. Uintah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Uintah's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Mountain View as they made off with a 15-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Utes in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won eight in a row.

Ellie Lewis was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Olson, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

Uintah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .692. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Provo's offense. They lost 24-0 to Orem on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Uintah's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Provo, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Everything went Uintah's way against Provo when the teams last played back in March, as Uintah made off with an 18-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Utes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
