 The Gregory Gorillas's road trip will continue as they head out to face the DeSmet Bulldogs at 6:00  p.m.  on March 14th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the pair will really light up the scoreboard  on Thursday.
 With a playoff game on the line, Gregory rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They strolled past the Cardinals with  points to spare, taking the game  62-46.
 Gregory got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Cruz Klundt out in front who  scored 23 points along with five  rebounds and two  blocks. Klundt hasn't dropped below 17 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Daniel Mitchell, who  scored 18 points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals.
 Meanwhile, DeSmet waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with ten straight wins  but they left with 11. They walked away with  a   61-49  win over Timber Lake. Given DeSmet's advantage  in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings  (they are ranked ninth, while Timber Lake is ranked 101st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Gregory is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record  this season. As for DeSmet, their victory bumped their record up to 20-3.
