Skyline's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They skirted past the Huron River Rats 11-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the match before.

Skyline let Penelope Shefferly and Mira Wroten run wild. Shefferly scored three runs while going 3-for-3, while Wroten scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Crawford, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Skyline was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Huron only posted a batting average of .300.

The victory got Skyline back to even at 1-1. As for Huron, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Skyline will face off against Bedford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Huron, they will challenge Pinckney at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
