Baseball Game Preview: Bluff Dale Bobcats vs. Milford Bulldogs

The Bluff Dale Bobcats will take on the Milford Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bluff Dale duked it out with Santo on Thursday. The Bobcats took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Bobcats have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Milford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over Covington on Tuesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Milford let Lucas Geisel and Swish Washington run wild. Geisel went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Washington got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Washington a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Fuentez, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Bluff Dale's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Milford, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
