Volleyball Game Preview: HEA Firebirds HomeSchool vs. Perrysburg Yellow Jackets

HEA Firebirds HomeSchool will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Thursday, HEA Firebirds HomeSchool came up short against Springfield and fell 3-1.

While HEA Firebirds HomeSchool had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 18-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Perrysburg faced Springfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-1 to the Blue Devils. The game marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Springfield scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 21-25, 25-18.

Having lost for the first time this season, Perrysburg fell to 11-1. As for HEA Firebirds HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
